A measure that would make changes to the composition of  board members to the Public Employees’ Retirement Association, or PERA, was sent back to the House State, Veterans, & Military Affairs Committee today for further revisions upon request of it’s sponsor, Rep. Jim Kerr, R-Littleton.  The measure, House Bill 1248, is already a revision of a previous bill, House Bill 1008, that failed to get out of committee.  Both bills address specific reforms in PERA that Senate Democrats had previously indicated they would not support.
