Civil Unions bill moves forward

The House Finance Committee passed Senate Bill 2, by Sen.Pat Steadman, D-Denver and Rep. Mark Ferrandino, D-Denver today, a measure allowing civil unions for gay and lesbian couples in Colorado. The deciding vote was cast by Rep. Donald Beezley, R-Broomfield
The measure now heads to the House Appropriations Committee for consideration.

The House Judiciary Committee passed Senate Bill 2, by Sen.Pat Steadman, D-Denver and Rep. Mark Ferrandino, D-Denver today, a measure allowing civil unions for gay and lesbian couples in Colorado. The deciding vote was cast by Rep. B.J. Nikkel, R-Loveland.
The measure now heads to the House Finance Committee for consideration.
