Republican lawmakers introduced the “Healthcare Opportunity & Patient Empowerment (HOPE) Act” today in the House.
The bill would allow Colorado to opt out of federal healthcare legislation by joining an interstate compact—an agreement Colorado would enter into with other states allowing for the opt-out if Congress approved the compact.
